Adventure Golf – Pirates Island

If you are looking for some seriously fun mini golf that every member of the family will love in Hilton Head, check out Adventure Golf – Pirates Island. The funky pirate theme is applied at every hole from fog machine effects, water fountains with colored water, a pirate cave hole with sound effects and pirate scenes, and much more. The course is very well maintained, is open late (perfect for an after dinner activity with the kids), and has a strict no-smoking or no-alcohol policy. It is always busy, but somehow the lines seem to keep moving and there is so much to look at, even the kids don’t mind.

Adventure Cove Family Fun Center

There are quite a few mini golf courses on Hilton Head Island, however, Adventure Cove is one of our favorites. The courses are well maintained, the staff was very friendly and the putt putt courses are gimicky enough that kids and adults will love them!

Putt N Stuff

We love this place! They have an outdoor go-kart track, climbing wall, putt putt, batting cages, sand volleyball and more. But inside there is a big game room, black light laser tag, and a huge play structure complete with slides, swings and places to jump, as well as a smaller enclosed toddler play area. My kids have a blast here (and I like it because it’s clean and the staff is great), and we usually spend an entire afternoon there when we go. They do serve food and drinks too. Prices are very reasonable, and they also offer coupons on their website. I definitely recommend this place for kids of all ages! Price depends on what you want to do, but you only pay for what you want. Located between Massillon and Wooster just south of Orrville.

Hoffman’s Playland

Hoffman’s Playland is a small amusement park that caters to the younger crowd. First opened in 1952, the park boasts 19 rides including a Carousel, and a video arcade that is, of course, complete with Skeeball and other traditional video games. (Check website for specific hours of operation, which vary by day and season; Open April through September.)

Idlewild

Idlewild is a great amusement park with fun stuff for kids and parents alike! It has been rated in the top family parks for a number of years. Rides range from kids to adults, and are mostly all family friendly. It includes two roller coasters, one steel and one wooden. Also includes an awesome water park with a number of slides, a pool, and a kids section. The children’s section of the park “Raccoon Lagoon” includes about 10 rides for kids of all ages, many of which are miniatures of the main park rides. The park is located in a scenic location in Ligonier PA, about an hour south of Pittsburgh.

This is a fun and whimsical destination where you can create your own mosaic masterpiece. The mosaic studio is a safe place for everyone: all of the tiles, china, and glass are tumbled so that sharp edges are removed. Reservations are accepted for group events and functions, such as children’s birthday parties, corporate get-togethers, and special occasions of any kind.
