The Playscape at Children’s Park is one of the largest community-built playscapes in the U.S. Designed by renowned playscape architect, Robert Leathers, the playscape is located on the banks of the San Marcos River. It is the perfect place for children to wear themselves out running and playing, and then flop into the beautiful crystal-clear water. At over 20,000 square feet, the playscape contains some 70 playstations and is entirely surrounded by a skateboard trail. Numerous picnic tables grace the large tree-covered park which also contains public water and restroom facilities.
