Brackenridge Park

You can spend all day playing at Brackenridge Park, a 343-acre emerald of trees and trails snuggled along the headwaters of the San Antonio River. After wandering through the San Antonio Zoo, beautiful Japanese Tea Garden or the Witte Museum, stop by the playground cradled by a curve of the river behind the zoo. You’ll find several playscapes with slides and tubes along with swings and a see-saw. You can also feed some of the lazy ducks at the river, and ride the miniature train around the park.

Like a wooden castle in a fairytale forest, the amazing playscape tucked into this 15-acre downtown park engages the imagination of any child. Winding stairs and pathways, towers topped with spires, slides and swings, and nooks and crannies so small that adults can’t squeeze into them will keep youngsters busy for hours. Next door is the children’s Magik Theatre. Strolling paths lead to lush landscapes, cascading waterfalls, historical buildings and the famous 750-foot tall Tower of the Americas.

Opening March 2010, the mission of Morgan’s Wonderland is to set a new standard for excellence in providing outdoor recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We believe that there is a real need for a special place for special people, one that provides an oasis for people with disabilities, their families and caregivers who need facilities specifically designed to assist them in enjoying outdoor activities.

This is a great Indoor Playground and Party Center for children ages 1 to 10. Rain or shine, it’s party time! Whether you are celebrating during April showers or in the middle of the summer heat, the party never ends at JUST ADD CHILDREN. They are conveniently located in the Northwest part of San Antonio, between Loop 410 and Anderson Loop 1604 off of Bandera Rd.

The facility consists of over 3500 square feet of fun filled excitement. From the moment a child steps inside they are taken away into a world full of imagination. From JAC in the Beanstalk to super size insects, they all come to life in our welcoming kid friendly environment. Come and enjoy the company of your family and friends in our private party rooms as your children eat in the company of their favorite storybook characters. Entering the play area transcends your little one into a land of dramatic play. For the tiny tots we have a soft play, jungle themed area just for them. Brilliant colors illuminate this spot designed with baby activity centers, soft play area and a moon bounce with a slide for ages 4 and under. For the daring we have included a climber with two slides from Steps 1-3.
Your children will pretend they are little mommies and daddies when they step into our cedar cabin turned nursery, complete with a baby changing table, strollers, washer/dryer, and ironing board. They may even make believe they are cooking in their very own hand crafted kitchen. That’s not even half of it. Parents sit back and enjoy the show as your precious angel’s become rock stars. As they disappear in their very own super star dressing room with a variety of costumes to choose from and a vanity for touch ups, they emerge ready for stardom walking down the runway with microphones and guitars singing karaoke.

Don’t leave yet! You need to save time for the biggest attraction; the large moon bounce. Complete with two 7 foot slides of its own, you may never leave this area. Watch your kids bounce away or dare to compete with one on one basketball. Speaking of competition, who can get the farthest playing video games on three 20-inch LCD screens? The newest attraction just arrived. Tip toe around the alligators and jump aboard JAC’s very own pirate ship.

Ingram Park Mall Playground

When it’s rainy outside, this is is a nice indoor play area for the kids.
